Stellaris
Stellaris Euro Afternoon /v/idya
casual co-op competitive
Vanilla Stellaris 4.2 session happening during a sunday euro noon/afternoon made less than 16 hours prior because I am a NEET. The only reason it's not the 4.3 beta is because I'm worried it will desync like crazy.
Slow/Normal speed in general.
Higher difficulty but not Grand Admiral because that just turns into cheap ways of appeasing the AI.
All DLCs enabled (I know Cosmic Storms is considered bad but other DLCs add worse stuff and nobody complains about those).
Scaling tech costs turned off.
Will check to see if the pop penalties can still be toggled off, in which case they will be.
2x crisis strength.
No advanced AI starts.
My computer is ass, please forgive me ahead of time.
Overall goal is to play together, though PVP is allowed as long as you aren't pretty much crippling your fellow player's empire.
House rules:
1. NO machine empires, they're overpowered as fuck. It's fine if you want to do a machine ascension though. Cyborgs are allowed
2. NO clone army origin, huge and cheap early game pop boost
3. NO scion origin, pretty much untouchable
4. NO crisis and purifier empires, mostly because it causes grief and players leaving the session (either the purifier empire getting destroyed or the purifier empire destroying someone else's empire).
4.1. This also includes associated origins like Endbringers.
5. No origins that spawn other empires in the galaxy, some of them are really strong (the ones that start you off in a federation) and the rest have advanced AI starts.
Lengthy list but it's mostly to ensure some semblance of balance in the early game and to avoid issues later on.
Session might happen weekly or earlier depending on schedule.
