BF2MC PS2 Online (+ PCSX2 Emulator)

BF2MC is the original console Battlefield experience and the PS2 Version is playable again on real PS2 Hardware and on PCSX2 Emulator! Requirements: Battlefield 2 Modern Combat PS2 (Preferably NTSC Version SLUS-21026) PS2 with Network Adapter OR PCSX2 Emulator NTSC Game SLUS-21026 (PCSX2 & PS2): PS2: 1. Start Game and access Multiplayer from Main Menu: 2. When Prompted, Create a new Network Configuration 3. At the Network Config Screen, Set DNS to Manual 4. Input DNS1: 128.140.0.23, DNS2 can be left as blank or 1.1.1.1 5. All other Network Config options kept as Auto. 6. Complete and Save to MMC! 7. Create an account and login! Enjoy! PCSX2: 1. Download the latest PCSX2 Emulator 2. Follow the first time setup procedure. 3. You will need to provide your own PS2 BIOS & backup of the game in .ISO format. 4. In Settings > Network & HDD, Enable Ethernet 5. Set Ethernet Device Type to 'Sockets' 6. Set Ethernet Device to the adapter you use to access the internet 7. Close! Do not input any DNS settings here! 8. Refer to the same PS2 Steps 1-7 as above!! PAL Game SLES-53729/SLES-53730 (PCSX2 Guide): 1. Download the latest PCSX2 Emulator 2. Follow the first time setup procedure. 3. You will need to provide your own PS2 BIOS & backup of the game in .ISO format. 5. Download DNAS_Patcher21.7z from here: https://www.psx-place.com/attachments/dnas_patcher21-7z.26877/ 6. Extract the file from the 7z archive. 7. Drag your BF2MC .ISO file onto the DNAS Patcher OR drag DNAS Patcher onto the .ISO file >> This will patch the game to bypass the now defunct Sony DNAS. 8. In Settings > Network & HDD, Enable Ethernet 9. Set Ethernet Device Type to 'Sockets' 10. Set Ethernet Device to the adapter you use to access the internet 11. Close!
