Unreal Tournament Strategy Thread

Just wanted to share some good tips on the game for anyone else who might be new. Getting good isn't just a matter of how much time you have on a game, but it is also a matter of knowing the right strategies. I am fairly new to UT still but these tips really helped me start doing well in my matches.
1. Turn on dodging in Settings > Preferences > Game, then double-tap any direction to dodge. Super good.
2. Aim by moving. If you are having a hard time hitting people from a distance, try moving left or right to aim as well instead of just purely mouse movement. This helped me a lot.
3. Remember powerup times. Atleast in games with lower amount of players. This just overall helped me a ton getting started at the game because I could target powerup times to help me out against good players.
Armor and knee pads are 30 seconds,
Shield Belt is 55 seconds,
Damage Amp is 110 seconds.
If you grabbed shield belt just add 5 seconds to the timer on the right side of the screen and you know when next one will spawn.
Example1: grabbed shield belt at 8:32 > next shield belt is at 7:37.
For damage amp just subtract two minutes and add 10 seconds.
Example2: grabbed damage amp at 8:32 > next is at 6:42.
Armor is just subtracting 30 seconds and can be a great way to get some extra health if you are having a hard time with the shield belt or powerups.
Example3: grabbed armor at 8:32 > next is at 8:02.
Finally the most important tip:
Have fun.
Its incredibly satisfying to get into the zone similarly to how you would in a fighting game with UT. But even if I am doing bad its still just fun to end peoples kill-streaks through feigning death then rising back up behind them with a flak cannon. Chilling out and enjoying the experience is a legitimate way to play and there is nothing ever wrong with that.
