Open the game using the shortcut links provided in the install directory. If you try to open Tribes2.exe directly, you'll just see a warning to use one of the shortcuts instead. Use the online mode shortcut to open the game for online play. Once the game is open, you will see the log-in screen. If you don't have an account yet, click the Create Account button and follow the steps. Log in with your user name and password. On the Warrior Setup tab, pick your skin and voice pack. Switch to the server list tab, click to select a server, then click the join button to join the server. Play! The settings menus should be pretty obvious. Set up your keyboard layout. Traditionally, the default Tribes 2 keyboard layout uses ESDF for movement instead of the usual WASD.
