How To Play: older CoD titles online.

This is a short guide on how to play older Call of Duty titles (World at War, Modern Warfare, etc) online and safely. I won't be dwelving deep into the services as most of them have readily available step-by-step guides, I will simply be letting you know which ones are available. I've tested all of them and they're 100% safe. Feel free to join if you need any help with any of these services as well. **[Plutonium]** First and foremost, you will need an account on the Plutonium forums to use the launcher and play on servers. Plutonium supports WAW, BO1, BO2 and MW3. Their forum is https://forum.plutonium.pw Now, once you've done that, you should head to https://plutonium.pw/docs/install/#plutonium-launcher which will include the download link for the launcher and a step-by-step guide to loading the games on the launcher and playing. I won't go deeper into Plutonium since they have their own guide. Plutonium does not provide game downloads anymore as XLabs and SM2 got shutdown for it. **[AlterWare]** AlterWare is the service for MW2, Ghosts, AW and BO3. Similar to Plutonium, (I believe) it's necessary to make an account on their forums to play on their servers (https://forum.alterware.dev). Once you've done that, head to https://alterware.dev/docs# which will include the installation and usage guide of their launcher and how to load and play the supported games. AlterWare does not provide game downloads for the same reason that Plutonium doesn't. **[COD.PM]** cod.pm is the service for the original Call of Duty (2003) and its expansion Call of Duty United Offensive (2004). It contains a masterlist of servers that you can connect to. Their faq (https://cod.pm/faq) has everything you need to know to get started. **[CB Launcher]** CB Launcher (https://docs.cbservers.xyz/launcher) allows for an easy way to download all the games with their respective alternative launcher. It supports every game CB Servers is hosting a server on (MW2, MW3, BO2, BO3, Ghosts, AW, MW:R, IW and HorizonMW). **[CoD4x]** CoD4x (https://cod4x.ovh) is the service for Modern Warfare (2007). The download is in the blue block as you open the page (under the boldened Client Releases text) **[CoD2x]** CoD2x (https://cod2x.me) is the service for Call of Duty 2 (2005). All you have to do is press the Windows manual install button on the left. **[HorizonMW]** HorizonMW (https://horizonmw.org/index.html) is a community-made remaster of MW2:R on the base of MW:R. Unlike Plutonium and AlterWare, the predecessor to HMW (H2M-Mod) got copyright struck, and that's why they don't provide the download to the base game.
