GameDate for public viewing?

i love the idea of game date and just had the inspiration that the same concept could be interesting for enjoying media content together. YouTube videos, live streams, movies, TV series, ... There are of course online services for this already, but i don't think even one of them has the aspect of hosting sessions at a specific time and date. This could be a nice way to watch weekly episodes of your favorite TV series with other people and such. What do you guys think? Would it be worth a spinoff? not sure if something like that would even be legal tho. i'm not a lawyer...
