Moderator Recruitment

GameDate has been running with a skeleton crew since launch. As the community grows, we need a few more people to keep sessions legitimate and the textboard free of spam and abuse. **The role** Volunteer, not a job. Check in once or twice a day, review reports, remove spam, and address bad behavior. Time commitment is light, maybe 10-15 minutes a day depending on activity. Read the "What is the GameDate textboard" post before applying. That post describes the moderation philosophy and the kinds of bad actors we watch for. If that resonates with you, keep reading. **What we're looking for** People who use GameDate, understand the philosophy, and want to help keep the site running smoothly. We don't tone-police, we act on spam, harassment, and the patterns described in the "What is the GameDate textboard" post. Timezone coverage matters, so non-NA applicants are especially welcome. Also read the rules page for more info. **How it works** Mods get access to the mod panel: reviewing reports, removing content, and issuing temporary mutes. Everything else is admin-only.
