##ON STEAM:
- Press "Win key + R" to open the "Run" app and type: steam://open/console
- In the Steam console paste the follow command: 'app_license_request 10050'
With this command it's just going to tell Steam to request the game to be added in your library since the game is delisted and can't be found in the Store anymore. doing that it should show up in your library for you to download and install it.
- When prompted to install Punkbuster, just say no and cancel it.
##ON Splash Damage (Installer Option):
- Access: https://www.splashdamage.com/games/enemy-territory-quake-wars
- Scroll down and download "DEMO CLIENT" for your respective platform (Windows or Linux)
- When prompted to install Punkbuster, just say no and cancel it.
##HOW TO CONNECT TO A SERVER?
There are 2 workarounds for connecting to a server, you can choose one or the other:
#METHOD 1:
- Open the in-game console, the shortcut for it is "Control+Alt+Tilde(~)"
- Type the command connect IP:PORT (IP:PORT is for example 0.0.0.0:27733)
#METHOD 2:
- Go to "Play on LAN"
- Locate the button "Direct Connect"
- Paste/type IP/DNS and port of the desire server
Once connected, the server should show up always under "Play on LAN" and in History (Changed in the "Source" drop-down list). You can also Favorite the server after that for easy access to it.
